Pricing & Lease Info


  • Pricing

    • The price for a season pass is $150.00. 
    •   If would still like to hunt or fish at the conclusion of dove season that's alright with us, up until February 1, 2011. Where else can you get a lease for this length where you can still fish, duck hunt, or varmint hunt for this amount?
    • FREE Bar-B-Q included for all paid hunter's. 
    • All paid hunters will receive a "ID Tag" that they will place in their vehicle on their rear view mirror.
    • No charge of hunter's under the age of 16 years, if hunting with a paid parent.
    • No charge of a "non-hunting" guest. 
    • If paying by check or money order make it out to David Norman LLC  or DJ Farms Dove Lease.
    • For  groups of 15 or more hunters we have several fields set aside on a 1st come basis.  This is in addition to the already approximatley 9,000 acres you would have access to.  Contact us for further details.


 

Additional Lease Information

  • The term of the lease is from August 27, 2010 & terminates Feb. 1, 2011. The term of lease is a little longer this season.  However, next season the lease will expire at the completion of Dove Season.
  • Yea, we know Dove Season begins Sept. 1, but if you would like to come out before the 1st to target shoot or fish that's ok with us.
  • You will be hunting in fields of cut grain such as wheat, corn, soybeans, wild areas of sunflowers, and fenced pastures with numerous ponds.
  • We don't place you in fields.  You will hunt anywhere on the marked fields on the maps we supply.
  • For Dove Season, there is "no checking in" you come and go as you please.
  • You will be tresspassing on property if we don't have a release of liability and a lease agreement on file.  This includes non paying guests.
  • If you have never hunted on the lease or will not be hunting with someone who has hunted on the lease, you are required to tour the lease.  The only exception is that only 1 party of a group of hunter's are required to take a tour.
  • At all times when you are on the lease, you must have your "Tag" hanging on your rear view mirror of the vechilce you are in.  ALL "Tags" must have the name of the hunter written legibly on their "Tag"  For example, If you have 3 hunters hunting out of your vehicle you will need 3 "Tags" hanging on your rear view mirrow, each "Tag" having the name of the hunter written on it who is hunting that day. 

 

Location Information

We have two farming operations and it consists of 1 lease.  For your paid fee, you are allowed to hunt on both of them in the fields that are marked on your maps that we supply.  See driving instructions to download detailed directions.

The Howe & Van Alstyne farming operation is located approximately 50 minutes north of 635 & 75.  From the Dallas you would go 75 north to the operation.  For tours we meet in the Indpendant Bank parking lot in Howe, located on the corner of HWY 5 & Hanning Streets.  The fields that are part of the lease are located approximately 7 mile radius from the Bank.  This operation has several ponds, cut grain fields, and pastures.

The Leonard farming operaton is also located approximately 50 minutes north of 635 & 75.  However, if you live in the Garland or Rockwall area you would get to us by way of IH 30.  For tours we meet in the Leonard High School parking lot.  The fields that are a part of lease are approximately 8-9 radius from the High School.  This operation has several ponds for fishing, and large cut grain fields with the largest being 600+ acres.
