DOVE, FISHING, AND CAMPING PACKAGE: (SOLD OUT)
- The lease consists of approximately 10,000 acres of fields of wheat, corn, and soybeans and pastures with goat weed and wild sunflowers and approximately 14 ponds for fishing.
- The "timeline" to hunt the Dove, Fishing, and Camping package is determined by the Texas Department of Parks and Wildlife Dove Hunting--North Zone.
- Hunters may hunt anytime during the Dove Season. No Check ins, no placements! Hunters hunt any fields shown on the maps. There are dozens of fields spread out over the area. If dove aren't flying, change fields!
- All first-time hunters must take a tour.
- Once payment is received by mail, hunters will receive receipt of payment, tags, and passwords for the maps. These usually go out in the mail the next day after payment is received.
Dove, Duck, Teal, Fishing, Camping, Varmint Combo Package: $500. (SOLD OUT).
- Limited to the first 50 hunters. (SOLD OUT).
- Same as the Dove, Fishing, and Camping Package, but adds Duck, Teal, and Varmints, plus hunters reserve by reservation the ponds for duck hunting.
- The "timeline" to hunt this package is determined by the Texas Department of Parks and Wildlife--North Zone.
- Early Payment Discount does not apply to the Dove and Duck Package.
Kids 14 and under: Free hunting with a paid parent.
We are DJ Farms Hunting Lease understand all kids need a starting point to decide if they are going to love the sport and become a seasoned hunter. With this in mind, any hunter 14 and under having take the Texas Hunter's Safety Course can hunt free as long as they are hunting with their paid parent and have submitted the Release of Liability and Hunter Registration forms. Fourteen and under hunters must stand by their paid parent at all times and parent must have purchased a season membership. They cannot hunt with any other hunters.
Miscellaneous Information
- There is no hunting after sundown.
- All paid hunters will receive an ID Tag based on their hunting package, which will be hung on the rearview mirror of the vehicle.
- No charge for a "non-hunting" guest not carrying a gun.
- Checks are to be made out to DJ Hunting Leases of North Texas.
- Groups of ten or more hunters please contact us for special pricing and reserved fields.
- Duck and Teal Hunting is by appointment only to prevent over crowding and safety. Reservations for teal hunting will be determined once Texas Department of Parks and Wildlife post the dates.
- No "check-in" for dove hunting. Hunters hunt wherever and whenever they want between sunrise and sunset.
- All new hunters must take a tour. For those hunting in a group, at least one member of the group must have taken a tour.
- Hunters paying early can receive a 100% money back return up to the conclusion of a tour of the lease. No refunds after leaving the tour.
The Release of Liability, Hunting Lease Agreement, and Payment must be received before anyone can hunt.
Military Discount
As in years past, we offer all Veterans of the United States Armed Services a $25 discount on the regular price of the Dove/Fishing Package purchased after July 31, 2023, including those currently serving our Nation on active duty. We appreciate our military and thank them for their past and present service to our Country. This discount is not available until August 1, 2023 and is only applied to the Dove/Fishing Package.
Group Discount
For groups of 10 hunters, when purchasing 9 season passes, the 10th pass if free. Only one pass is awarded. One member of the group must be the group leader collecting all forms, making payment, and coordinating and communicating for the group. In addition, with the 10-member group discount, the group will have access to a "private" field only available to the group.
Guest Passes
Guest passes may be purchased only by a season lease holder. For example, a season lease holder may purchase a guest pass allowing a different hunter to hunt with him/her each time. The guest pass may be used as many times as long as only one guest is present at any given time. The guest pass is transferrable to other guest, but only when the guest is with the original hunter. The guest price is the same cost as either of the hunting packages. A release of liability must be sent to the office before the guest is on the lease.
And Even More Information
- Dove Season begins September 1, 2023. Paid hunters are welcome to come out before season opens to scout.
- Hunters are hunting in fields of cut grains such as corn, wheat, soybeans, wild areas of sunflowers, and fenced pastures with numerous ponds. Hunters are asked to stay out of fields of cotton that may be on the lease.
- Hunters are not placed. They hunt anywhere and anytime they want during season.
- There is no "checking in" during dove season. Hunters come and go as they please.
- Hunters are trespassing on the property if they do not have a Release of Liability and Hunting Lease Agreement on file. This include 14 and under hunters and non-paying guests.
- Hunters never hunting on the lease are required to take the tour. The only exception is when a group hunts together and at least one member of the group has taken the tour.
- At all times on the lease the ID Tag must be hanging on the rear view mirror of any vehicle. For example, if there are three hunters in the group, three tags must be hanging on the rearview mirror. If there are multiple vehicles for a group, each vehicle must have tags.
